Server Monitor automatically monitors your web site at specified intervals and can notify you immediately if the site is down. It sends an http get request and meters the amount of time it takes to receive data back from the host. If the host returns a fatal error code or fails to respond within the specified timeout period, it displays a red dock icon and can be set to send an email alert message to a specified email address. If your website goes offline unexpectedly Server Monitor can notify you instantly so you can take immediate action. Server Monitor also keeps its own log file so that response times can be viewed over time.
